Most of them run on past performances of seven to sixty days. I want to show you an example of that using the Illinois Pick 3 Lottery.
This is a seven day example from the Illinois Pick 3 Midday Drawing from March 21 to March 27, 2010.
The seven digits drawn during this seven day period are 092, 318, 780, 667, 234, 229, 565.
The hot numbers in this group are 2 and 6. These are the most frequent drawn numbers.
The cold numbers are 1 and 4. These are the least frequent drawn numbers.
The middle range group ends up being 0-3-5-7-8-9.
What you are going to do now, as this Pick 3 Lottery Number Generator suggest, is to combine the hot and cold numbers. You end up with 1-2-4-6.
The other filters these systems use are odd/even and high/low filters.
By doing so you create more numbers and you increase your chances of winning by having more numbers in your system.
We are going to add 2 more numbers from the middle range group in order to have a good size of numbers to add to the number generator. So we’re adding 5 and 9 to balance all of the filters.
Now you have a balanced group of digits to play….1-2-4-5-6-9

3 High/3 Low
The Pick 3 Number Generator creates sets of Pick 3 Numbers using 1-2-4-5-6-9 and by doing so you eliminated 0-3-7-8.
What I want to point out is that for every digit you eliminate in your Pick 3 play, you eliminate 271 potential Pick 3 winning combinations even BEFORE you get your list of numbers.
Now back to our example. Every Pick 3 number that contains 0-3-7-8 is an Automatic Loser (AL) and that is going to make you an Automatic Loser as well.
So, the basic message here is “Do Not Eliminate Numbers”.
You work with these numbers….2-6-5-9-1-4 ranging from hot to cold.
Let’s look at the next 12 draws from March 28 to April 8, 2010….
